According to Deadline, Sofia Carson (Purple Hearts), Kyle Allen (West Side Story), Connie Britton (9-1-1, The White Lotus) and Sebastian De Souza (Fair Play) have been tapped to join The Life List cast for Netflix’s next romantic comedy film.
Besides The Life List, Carson and Britton are also currently attached to star in other Netflix projects. Carson will next be seen starring alongside Taron Egerton in the streamer’s upcoming action thriller Carry One. Meanwhile, Britton will star opposite Robert De Niro in the conspiracy thriller series Zero Day.
What to expect in The Life List?
The Life List will be directed by Adam Brooks, who is no stranger to the romantic comedy genre after previously directing 2008’s Ryan Reynolds-led movie Definitely, Maybe. It is based on Lori Nelson Spielman’s 2013 novel of the same name. It will be produced by Liza Chasin for 3dot Productions, with Hutch Parker, Brooks, Margaret Chernin, and Kerry Orent set as executive producers.
“When Alex Rose’s (Carson) mother sends her on a quest to complete her childhood bucket list, it takes her on a journey that will make you both laugh and cry as she uncovers family secrets, finds romance, and discovers herself along the way,” reads the synopsis.
