A24 has revealed the MaXXXine release date for the third in Ti West’s horror trilogy starring Mia Goth.

The whodunnit slasher rounds out the trilogy that features X and Pearl and is set to be released On July 5, 2024.
MaxXxine takes place in 1985 with Mia Goth reprising her role of Maxine Minx from X. It picks up six years after the farmstead massacre of X. Maxine is now residing in LA and still striving to become a star in the acting world. But her chances are hampered by the fact people keep dying around her.
MaxXxine also stars musician Halsey, horror stalwart Kevin Bacon, Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang’s Michelle Monaghan, and Lilly Collins (Okja).
West has recently stated he has an idea for a fourth film, saying, “There is this one weird idea that I have that is kind of… if I explained it, it would make sense,” West said. “But we’ll see what happens. Let’s get this movie done first, see if people like it. Then we’ll go from there.”
The film does have a cloud over it after a background actor accused Mia Goth of kicking him in the head during filming.
