The upcoming Venom 3 has added another member to its cast, with Variety reporting that Clark Backo has officially joined the cast of the upcoming third entry.
Backo’s role in the film isn’t known as of now, but she’ll join a cast that’s quickly becoming very star-studded. Alongside star Tom Hardy — who reprises his role as Eddie Brock — Venom 3 will also star Juno Temple and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
Backo is best known for her roles in the Apple TV+ series The Changeling, as well as on the hit Hulu comedy Letterkenny, where she played Rosie in a recurring role.
What do we know about Venom 3 so far?
Currently, not a whole lot is definitively known about the upcoming film. Alongside Hardy returning for the film, Venom 3 will also feature Juno Temple and Chiwetel Ejiofor, although it’s unclear exactly what their roles will be in the upcoming movie.
Venom 3 marks the feature directorial debut of Kelly Marcel, who wrote screenplays for the first two films. The third installment will once again feature the Mad Max: Fury Road star in his dual role as Eddie Brock and the titular symbiote.
The untitled project is produced by Hardy and Marcel. Marcel wrote the script from a story she co-created with Hardy. Additional producers include Amy Pascal, Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach and Hutch Parker.
