Netflix shared a new Code 8: Part II trailer on Wednesday, confirming that the sequel film is set to arrive this month on the streaming platform.
The new trailer shows some of the highly anticipated sequel film, with Robbie Amell’s Connor leaving prison and trying to help move someone out of the city. The trailer also previews some of the new robotic K9’s set to appear in the movie.
Code 8: Part II is set to release on February 28, 2024, exclusively on Netflix.

What is Code 8 about?
The original Code 8 film released in 2019 and was a sci-fi action film that told the story about a man with superpowers who works to raise money for his sick family. The film is a feature-length version of the 2016 short film of the same name, also written and directed by Jeff Chan.
“In this sequel to Code 8, Connor (Robbie Amell) is out of prison and working as a janitor at a community center, having cut ties with his former criminal associate Garrett (Stephen Amell),” reads the official synopsis of the film. “Connor’s attempt at staying out of trouble is destroyed when he’s forced to help 14-year-old Pav (Sirena Gulamgaus) escape from a pack of corrupt officers led by Sergeant King (Alex Mallari Jr.). King uses the newly launched robotic K9’s to track Pav down, while Connor finds himself once again reaching out to Garrett and his crew for help, but can he trust the man who landed him in prison in the first place?”
