Neon has released another Longlegs teaser that continues to build anticipation for the Nicolas Cage serial killer thriller.
Killer Tease for Longlegs
Longlegs stars Maika Monroe and Nicolas Cage. The Oz Perkins film is about Monroe’s FBI agent pursuing Cage’s titular serial killer.
The latest teaser see a doorway in a home, with a man and a priest walking around. The Priest walks away from the door after staring out it at someone, and the man in the room comes after him with an axe. The trailer then shifts to a woman in front of an evidence board; presumably, this is Maika Monroe‘s character. A distorted voice speaks in the background, and it definitely has an air of Nic Cage to it.
While it’s still not 100% confirmed that the promos are for Longlegs, it’s the only film we know of at Neon that matches up the plot summary with what we’re seeing. It’s still exciting to be drip-fed mysterious teasers, and a build to Cage’s serial killer.
Interestingly, the symbols that have appeared in flashes during these teasers also feature on the evidence board. So, it looks like that might be part of the hunt for the killer.
Hopefully, we’ll get a full trailer soon that pays this off nicely.
