Warner Bros. Discovery announced The Color Purple 4K UHD release date on Tuesday, while also confirming that the film will release digitally on January 16, 2024.
The 2023 coming-of-age musical period drama film is set to release on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD on March 12, 2024. Before that, the film will be available digitally on Amazon Prime Video, AppleTV, Google Play, Vudu, and more for $24.99, as well as 48-hour rental via PVOD for $19.99.
Alongside the home release, Warner Bros. Discovery also detailed the hours of bonus features that The Color Purple will receive. This includes a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the film, with interviews with producers behind the project including Oprah Winfrey, and more.
