According to Deadline, That ’70s Show vet Topher Grace and Downton Abbey alum Michelle Dockery have officially joined the Flight Risk cast for Lionsgate‘s upcoming suspense thriller. Grace is set to portray a fugitive, while Dockery will be playing an Air Marshall.
What to expect in Flight Risk?
Flight Risk will be directed and produced by Oscar winner Mel Gibson from a Black List script written by Jasen Rosenberg. This marks the Braveheart actor’s directorial comeback after nearly a decade since directing the Andrew Garfield-led war drama Hacksaw Ridge. The upcoming suspense thriller will be led by Mark Wahlberg, who previously collaborated with Gibson on Daddy’s Home 2 and Father Stu. It hails from Davis Entertainment and Icon Productions.
“The film follows a pilot (Wahlberg) transporting an Air Marshal (Dockery), who’s been tasked with accompanying a fugitive (Grace) to trial,” reads the synopsis. “As they cross the Alaskan wilderness, tensions soar and trust is tested, as not everyone on board is who they seem.”
