Saltburn fans can now buy a candle that smells like Jacob Elordi’s climactic bath water.
Per Variety, a candle titled “Jacob Elordi’s Bathwater” is currently available for purchase for €31.18 ($34.06) on Etsy and $35 on Amazon. “There’s nothing quite like the smell of a quality candle, particularly when that smell is inspired by Jacob Elordi and what we imagine His Highness to smell like,” the product description reads.
In Saltburn, Elordi plays a character named Felix Catton, a wealthy University Oxford student who befriends a man named Oliver Quick (Barry Keoghan) and takes him to his family estate for an unforgettable summer.
One of the movie’s more memorable scenes sees Oliver spying on Felix while he’s passionately pleasuring himself in a bathtub. Once Felix leaves, Oliver goes to the tub and then proceeds to lick up the remaining residue.
What is Saltburn about?
“Academy Award-winning filmmaker Emerald Fennell (Promising Young Woman) brings us a beautifully wicked tale of privilege and desire,” the official synopsis reads. “Struggling to find his place at Oxford University, student Oliver Quick (Barry Keoghan) finds himself drawn into the world of the charming and aristocratic Felix Catton (Jacob Elordi), who invites him to Saltburn, his eccentric family’s sprawling estate, for a summer never to be forgotten.”
Along with Keoghan and Elordi, Saltburn also stars Rosamund Pike, Richard E. Grant, Alison Oliver, Archie Madekwe, and Carey Mulligan. The movie is written and directed by Fennell, who also produced it alongside Josey McNamara and Margot Robbie.
Saltburn has been nominated for two Golden Globe Awards for Best Actor (Keoghan) and Best Supporting Actress (Pike), among other accolades from various award shows. How it fares at this year’s Academy Awards remains to be seen when the Oscar nominations are officially announced on January 23, 2024.
