What is Man on the Run about?

Speaking in a Q+A regarding the film via Evergreen Media and The Smoking Section, Kim discussed his reasons for making Man on the Run and what sparked his interest in the subject matter.

We see through the lies told by those who have to those who have not. When a story like this comes along, where so many of the guilty have not been held to account or brought to justice; where, despite abundant coverage of this story on some of the largest platforms of the world, the average person on the street has no idea what 1MDB stands for or represents. How could you not want to tell this story? Anyone with the slightest interest in justice and accountability should want to shed a light on what happened, and more importantly, what hasn’t happened.”
