Sony has announced release dates for Wolfs, a new George Clooney and Brad Pitt starring film, along with an untitled movie starring Channing Tatum and Scarlett Johansson.
Per Variety, Apple Original Films’ untitled Tatum and Johansson movie, which was formerly known as Project Artemis, will hit theaters on July 12, 2024, with Colombia Pictures distributing.
The movie, directed by Greg Berlanti (Love, Simon), is set around the 1960s space race, with the screenplay coming from Rose Gilroy. Along with Tatum and Johansson, the film stars Jim Rash, Ray Romano, Anna Garcia, Donald Elise Watkins, Noah Robbins, Colin Woodell, Nick Dillenburg, Christian Zuber, and Woody Harrelson.
Johansson, Jonathan Lia, Keenan Flynn, and Sarah Schechter produce the movie, while Robert Dohrmann serves as an executive producer. Jason Bateman was originally tapped to direct the movie with Chris Evans starring; however, Bateman reportedly dropped out due to “creative differences” while Evans departed because of schedule changes.

Meanwhile, Wolfs, which also comes from Apple Original Films, will release in theaters and IMAX on September 20, 2024. Directed and written by Jon Watts (Spider-Man: Far From Home, Spider-Man: No Way Home), the upcoming film sees Clooney and Pitt play “two lone-wolf fixers assigned to the same job.”
Wolfs also stars Amy Ryan, known for The Office, Only Murders in the Building, Beau Is Afraid, and more. Watts, Clooney, and Pitt also produce the movie with Grant Heslov, Dede Gardner, and Jeremy Kleiner.
Clooney and Pitt have starred in a number of movies together before. Along with the Ocean’s franchise (including 2001’s Ocean’s Eleven, 2004’s Ocean’s Twelve, and 2007’s Ocean’s Thirteen), they also both appeared in 2002’s Confessions of a Dangerous Mind and 2008’s Burn After Reading, as well as the 2011 short film Touch of Evil and 2012 television movie 8.
