Marvel Cinematic Universe star Sebastian Stan will be playing reality television star and 45th President of the United States Donald Trump in the upcoming movie The Apprentice.
Deadline has reported that Stan will play Trump in Ali Abbasi’s upcoming movie The Apprentice. The film will focus on Trump’s time in New York throughout the 1970s and 1980s when he was building his real estate business. It will also examine his relationship with Roy Cohn — a controversial attorney who was one of Trump’s mentors.
Abbasi previously directed the 2022 film Holy Spider, which revolved around an Iranian serial killer who murdered 16 women, as well as the movies Shelley, Border, and more. Recently, he directed two episodes of the HBO video game adaptation series The Last of Us.
