After releasing a teaser image of a new creature yesterday, a pair of new Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire posters has made its way online — this time showcasing both Godzilla and King Kong as they unite against a new type of kaiju.
Like yesterday’s image, the poster comes from the Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire Instagram and shows off Godzilla and Kong inside of their respective handprints. In a notable move, Godzilla’s eyes appear to be glowing red and the tips of his claws also have a red hue to them.

What do we know about Godzilla x Kong?
“This latest entry follows up the explosive showdown of Godzilla vs. Kong with an all-new cinematic adventure, pitting the almighty Kong and the fearsome Godzilla against a colossal undiscovered threat hidden within our world, challenging their very existence — and our own,” reads the movie’s synopsis. “The epic new film will delve further into the histories of these Titans, their origins, and the mysteries of Skull Island and beyond, while uncovering the mythic battle that helped forge these extraordinary beings and tied them to humankind forever.”
Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire is the sequel to 2021’s Godzilla vs. Kong, which had the two titans clash with one another. It will be the latest movie in the MonsterVerse and is produced by Mary Parent, Alex Garcia, Eric McLeod, Brian Rogers, Thomas Tull, and Jon Jashni.
Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire is slated to premiere on April 12, 2024.
