The Boys star Karl Urban took to Instagram to share a brand new cast photo from the set of the Mortal Kombat 2 production, confirming that filming has officially resumed in Australia. This comes after SAG-AFTRA recently announced the end of its 118-day-long actors’ strike, as the union finally reaches a tentative deal with the AMPTP.
The set photo shows Urban with co-stars Mehcad Brooks, Adeline Rudolph, Ludi Lin, and C.J. Bloomfield hanging out by their trailers. In the sequel, Urban is slated to portray fan-favorite character Johnny Cage, who was previously portrayed by Linden Ashby in the 1995 film adaptation.
