Catherine O’Hara will reprise her role as Sally for one of three The Nightmare Before Christmas concert performances at the Hollywood Bowl this month.
A Nightmare Reunion
O’Hara (Home Alone, Schitts Creek) will participate in one of the shows alongside Danny Elfman, who reprises his role as Jack Skellington, with musician Halsey taking the role on the other two nights. Previous concerts have seen singers such as Billie Eilish and Phoebe Bridgers take on the role of Sally.
The concerts, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Tim Burton and Henry Selick animated classic, take place on October 27-29, 2023. O’Hara will be at the last show.
Additional concert guests include Fred Armisen (as Lock), Riki Lindhome (as Shock), and Ken Page (Oogie Boogie). Conductor John Mauceri is set to lead the full orchestra and choir.
Tim Burton‘s The Nightmare Before Christmas In Concert event is also due to feature additional activities, including a costume contest and Halloween-themed events.
