The first trailer for Tyler MacIntyre’s (V/H/S 99) festive slasher comedy It’s a Wonderful Knife has landed.

The one thing I can say for sure about this trailer is that Justin Long looks to be having the time of his life in this.
A year after saving her town from a psychotic killer on Christmas Eve, Winnie Carruthers’ (Jane Widdop) life is less than wonderful — but when she wishes she’d never been born, she finds herself in a nightmare parallel universe and discovers that things could be much worse without her. Now that the killer is back, she must team up with the town misfit to identify the killer and return to her own reality.
It’s a Wonderful Life by way of Scream is how it’s being pitched, and there’s a touch of Jimmy Stewart about Justin Long’s Mayor, that’s for sure.
It stars Cassandra Naud (Influencer), Justin Long (Barbarian), Joel McHale (Spider-Man 2), Katharine Isabelle (Ginger Snaps) and Jane Widdop. It was written by Michael Kennedy (Freaky).
