Lionsgate has set the Cobweb Digital, Blu-Ray and DVD release dates for its latest supernatural horror thriller. This comes after the film made its theatrical release on July 21.
When are the Cobweb Digital, Blu-Ray, & DVD release dates?
Cobweb will be available to rent on purchase on digital this Friday, August 11. The Lizzy Caplan-led movie will then have its home video release on Blu-Ray and DVD on September 12 for the retail price of $21.99 and $19.98, respectively. Both digital and physical releases will include three special features titled “Becoming The Girl,” “Through the Eyes of a Child,” and “A Primal Fear.”
“Eight-year-old Peter is plagued by a mysterious, constant tap, tap from inside his bedroom wall – a tapping that his parents insist is all in his imagination,” reads the synopsis. “As Peter’s fear intensifies, he believes that his parents could be hiding a terrible, dangerous secret and questions their trust. And for a child, what could be more frightening than that?”
Written by Chris Thomas Devlin, Cobweb was the feature directorial debut of Samuel Bodin. The film starred BAFTA nominee Woody Norman as Peter, Lizzy Caplan as Carol, Antony Starr as Mark, and Cleopatra Coleman as Miss Devine.
The film was produced by Roy Lee, Andrew Childs, Evan Goldberg, Seth Rogen, James Weaver, and Josh Fagen. It hailed from Vertigo Entertainment and Point Grey Pictures.
