The Dread original movie Island Escape launches on VOD platforms today, bringing its time-looping monster mania to the small screen.

The movie sees a CEO hiring a group of blue-collar mercenaries to extract his daughter from a research camp on the Isle of Gran Manan, a job that sounds simple until they touch down on the island. Once there, the mercs discover there’s a wormhole surrounding the area that causes time to reset every three days. Oh, and there’s also a bit of a pest problem too as the island is rife with hideous monsters. They will have to solve the puzzle of the island if they are to have any chance of survival and escape.
Island Escape is directed by the festival award-winning Bruce Wemple (The Retreat, First Contact) and stars William Champion (The Folklorist) and Michael L. Parker (The Host, Pitch Perfect).
While Island Escape is on VOD everywhere today, it will get a physical release on Blu-Ray on September 12, 2023.
