A new movie starring Kevin Spacey named Control is hoping to release in late 2023.
Spacey has had a long career in Hollywood. He has garnered acclaim for his roles in movies like The Usual Suspects, Se7en, and American Beauty. Later in his career, he appeared in the Netflix series House of Cards and found himself under controversy after receiving multiple sexual misconduct allegations.
He was recently cleared of his charges, and audiences may wonder if the actor has a chance of returning to the spotlight after all his controversy. He had a voice role in an indie U.K. thriller named Control, which “follows the British home secretary (Lauren Metcalfe) as she drives home one night while engaging in a secret love affair with the prime minister (Mark Hampton).”
“Meanwhile, another man — played by Spacey — knows her secret and has been badly affected by it and seeks revenge, plotting to remotely hijack her fully self-driving car and forcing her on a rampage through the streets of London using the car she’s trapped in as a deadly weapon.”
What is the Control release date?
“We would like to have the film in cinemas in December,” explains Strath Hamilton, co-CEO of TriCoast Worldwide. Hamilton adds that he is having serious talks with U.S. and U.K. buyers.
