Shout! Factory will be changing its name as the company celebrates its 20th anniversary.
Since its inception in 2002, Shout! Factory has been a successful home video distributor. They have made labels such as SHOUT! KIDS, which has had home releases for beloved shows like Transformers, Sesame Street, and Gravity Falls, and Scream Factory, which has seen the deluxe Collector’s Edition treatment to films like Halloween, The Thing, Carrie, and Friday the 13th.
The company has announced it will be changing its name to Shout! Studios to better reflect their brand. To celebrate their 20th anniversary, they will also have a booth at Comic-Con International in San Diego, and contests and themed programming blocks on the 20th of every month.
