The cast for Tyler Perry’s Black, White, & Blue have been set, with eight actors being revealed in the first official announcement of casting.
Who will star in Black, White, & Blue?
Black, White, & Blue will be the first of four movies that Perry will do for Amazon Studios, falling under his recent four-picture deal with the company that he signed late last year.
The movie will be written, directed, and produced by Perry, and will star Kat Graham (The Vampire Diaries), Tyler Lepley (Harlem), Meagan Tandy (Batwoman), Josh Adeyeye (Ruthless), RonReaco Lee (First Wives Club), Jimi Stanton (Your Honor), Shannon LaNier (God’s Not Dead 3), and Nick Barrotta (The Oval).
Currently, no release information is available on the film. Alongside Perry, producers on the film will also include Angi Bones and Will Areu via Tyler Perry’s production banner Tyler Perry Studios, as well as Jamall Ellzy.
“Fela Blackburn’s life is shattered when she loses her husband, Rodney Blackburn, at the hands of a police officer,” reads an official synopsis for the film. “Determined to get to the bottom of the incident and seek justice, she leans on her best friend, Marley Wells, who is a lawyer, and her husband, Tony Wells, who is a former cop turned private investigator, to use their influence to find the truth. But as the truth unfolds, Fela learns that her entire world is rooted in lies and betrayal.”
