Two untitled Star Wars movie release dates have been altered, with one untitled Star Wars movie being pushed from December 19, 2025 to May 22, 2026 and a second untitled Star Wars movie being dated for December 18, 2026.
Three Star Wars movies were announced during Star Wars Celebration earlier this year: one featuring Daisy Ridley’s Rey, a James Mangold-directed movie about the first Jedi, and Dave Filoni’s Star Wars movie. Which of these is which in relation to the delays is currently unknown.
Outside of Star Wars, several Marvel Cinematic Universe movies were also delayed while one was moved forward, with other Disney projects like the Moana live-action remake being shuffled as well.
Quite a few Star Wars projects are currently on the horizon, including the Disney+ series Ahsoka, The Acolyte, and Skeleton Crew. On the gaming side, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was recently released, while Star Wars: Hunters, Star Wars: Eclipse, Star Wars: Outlaws, and a remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic are all on the horizon.
