Vin Diesel has announced the Fast X Part 2 release date.
This year, audiences everywhere were treated to Fast X, the tenth movie in the main Fast and Furious saga. After the film ended on a cliffhanger, fans may wonder when the next movie will race into theaters. Franchise star Vin Diesel recently took to Instagram to announce the release date — and squash some beef rumors with Jason Momoa.
When is Fast X Part 2 coming out?
The Fast X Part 2 release date is April 4, 2025. The film is just under two years away from its release.
Diesel also took the time to praise Momoa, who starred in Fast X as the villain Dante Reyes.
“I love how expressive and collaborative all of the actors in our franchise feel coming into the World’s Saga,” his post reads. “Jason wanted to try something totally unique and special and ended up creating a scene stealing character that the world won’t forget. Thank you all for showing up like you always do.”
Momoa commented on the post, saying, “all aloha, best times. Mahalo for taking a chance with me boss man.” This comes after a report that said Diesel was unhappy with Momoa for taking the spotlight with his over-the-top performance in Fast X.
With Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson set to return as Luke Hobbs, the Fast family appears to be running strong.
