Ahead of April’s SnyderCon event, director Zack Snyder recently said that working with the new folks in charge of Warner Bros. has “been amazing.”
During a recent interview with Film Junkee, Snyder praised Warner Bros. for setting up his “Full Circle” event, which will be a three-day celebration of the Snyderverse trilogy and will feature screenings of Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition, and Zack Snyder’s Justice League.
“Warner Bros., as far as this screening/event is concerned, have been incredible,” said Snyder. “This group is now beyond, beyond kind, and caring, and personal, and it’s been amazing working with them, so I have no complaints. Beyond that, as far as the creative goes and what they’re planning, I have honestly been busy shooting this movie. I have no idea what they’re up to.”
Despite a group of dedicated fans’ hopes for more DC films from Snyder, it seems like DC Studios is readying itself to fully move away from that era of comic book films. Earlier this year, Gunn and co-CEO Peter Safran outlined the future of the DCU with 10+ projects, including a new Superman film to be written and directed by Gunn.
