The Knock at the Cabin Peacock release date has been set for the streaming service.
Appreciated director M. Night Shyamalan is a master of thriller and suspense. Here’s when to watch his latest effort.
When to Watch Knock at the Cabin on Peacock
Peacock will add Knock at the Cabin to its available content at 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. PT on Friday, March 24. Shyamalan wrote and directed the film based on Paul Tremblay’s 2018 novel. The thriller stars Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3), Jonathan Groff (Hamilton, Mindhunter), Ben Aldridge (Pennyworth, Fleabag), Nikki Amuka-Bird (Old), newcomer Kristen Cui, Abby Quinn (Little Women), and Rupert Grint (Servant).
“While vacationing at a remote cabin, a young girl and her parents are taken hostage by four armed strangers who demand that the family make an unthinkable choice to avert the apocalypse,” reads the synopsis. “With limited access to the outside world, the family must decide what they believe before all is lost.”
The movie grossed over $54 million during its theatrical run, overcoming its reported $20 million production budget. However, it received mixed reactions from critics and audiences. “The performances and dialogue are stilted, some of them feeling so carefully scripted and crafted that you remember you’re watching a fictional narrative,” read ComingSoon’s review.
Shyamalan also produced Knock at the Cabin with Ashwin Rajan through their Blinding Edge Pictures banner, along with Marc Bienstock. Executive producers are Steven Schneider, Christos V. Konstantakopoulos, and Ashley Fox.
