An interesting documentary is topping the HBO Max schedule for March 13-19.
On Sunday, March 19, the streaming service will add All the Beauty and the Bloodshed to its available content. The documentary follows the works and battles of artist and activist Nan Goldin. All the Beauty and the Bloodshed won the Golden Lion for best film at the Venice International Film Festival, the second documentary ever to do so.
“The film follows P.A.I.N., a group Goldin founded to shame museums into rejecting Sackler money, destigmatize addiction, and promote harm reduction. Inspired by Act Up, the group orchestrated protests to expose the Sacklers and the crimes of their Purdue Pharma, the makers of OxyContin.”
