Golden Globe-nominated actress Mila Kunis is back as the leading actress in the adaptation of Jessica Knoll’s mystery novel of the same name. Here’s when to watch the upcoming film on the streaming service.

Netflix set the Luckiest Girl Alive release date at 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. PT on Friday, October 7. Mike Barker directed the film from a screenplay also written by Knoll. Joining Kunis are Finn Wittrock (The Big Short), Scoot McNairy (Narcos: Mexico), and Chiara Aurelia (Cruel Summer). Additionally, Thomas Barbusca (Black Monday), Justine Lupe (Succession), Dalmar Abuzeid (Anne with an E), Alex Barone (Dopesick), Carson MacCormac (Shazam!) with Jennifer Beals (The Book of Eli), and Connie Britton (Friday Night Lights).

“The film centers on Ani Fanelli, a sharp-tongued New Yorker who appears to have it all: a sought-after position at a glossy magazine, a killer wardrobe, and a dream Nantucket wedding on the horizon,” reads the synopsis. “But when the director of a crime documentary invites her to tell her side of the shocking incident that took place when she was a teenager at the prestigious Brentley School, Ani is forced to confront a dark truth that threatens to unravel her meticulously crafted life.”

Kunis produced Luckiest Girl Alive together with Julia Hammer, Bruna Papandrea, Jeanne Snow, Erik Feig, and Lucy Kitada. Executive producers are Knoll, Barker, Lisa Sterbakov, Shayne Fiske Goldner, and Steve Hutensky.
