According to Deadline, Ready Or Not and The Babysitter star Samara Weaving has found her next horror project in the form of the upcoming action horror movie titled Azrael. Weaving has signed on for the leading role in the film, which is currently slated to begin its production next month on October 10 in Estonia.

Azrael will be directed by Evan Katz from a screenplay written by Simon Barrett (You’re Next, untitled Godzilla vs. Kong sequel). Further details about its plot and characters are still being kept under wraps.
The project will be produced by Barrett and Dan Kagan, with Katz and Katrin Kissa serving as executive producers. Jason Cloth and Dave Caplan of C2 Motion Picture Group are financing and producing the film.

Besides the upcoming horror film, Weaving will also next be seen in the sixth Scream film, which will reunite her with the Ready or Not directors. She will also star in a few high-profile films, such as Damien Chazelle’s period film Babylon.
