As part of today’s D23 Expo, Marvel revealed who the villain of Captain America: New World Order will be.
Tim Blake Nelson will be returning as The Leader, who he first played in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk. The Leader will be the primary villain of Captain America: New World Order, which was described by director Julius Onah as “a paranoid thriller.”
Nelson isn’t the only returning actor, as Carl Lumbly will reprise his role as Isaiah Bradley from Falcon and the Winter Soldier, while Danny Ramirez returns as Joaquin Torres, who was implied to be on the path to becoming the new Falcon in the same Disney+ series.
The film will be penned by Malcolm Spellman, who was the creator and head writer of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, and Dalan Musson, who also worked on the Disney+ series.
