Given this is through flashbacks, it’s been reported that the film will involve Rocket’s origins alongside its focus on Star-Lord and Gamora, which was set up in Avengers: Endgame.
Maria Bakalova was confirmed to be voicing Cosmo the Spacedog in Vol. 3, while Chukwudi Iwuji was confirmed to be playing the role of the High Evolutionary. Iwuji appeared in a full High Evolutionary outfit to give fans a preview of his character.
