According to Deadline, Percy Jackson star Logan Lerman and Bridgerton breakout Phoebe Dynevor have offiically signed on for the leading roles in the romantic comedy titled The Threesome. Described as a high-concept and character-driven story, the project hails from director Chad Hartigan.
The Threesome will be directed by Chad Hartigan from a screenplay written by Ethan Ogilby. The project is also being likened to Judd Apatow’s comedy film Knocked Up. It is being produced by Star Thrower.
“The film centers around the aftermath of one impulsive, seemingly innocuous decision,” reads the synopsis. “When a young man’s perennial crush leads him into an unexpected threesome, he thinks it’s his ultimate fantasy come true. But when the fantasy ends, all three are left with sobering real-world consequences, forcing them to take responsibility for their actions — even if it means compromising the lives they’ve always envisioned.”

Dynevor gained recognition for her role as Daphne in Netflix’s hit period romance drama Bridgerton. She will next be seen in films such as Fair Play and The Outlaws Scarlett and Browne, as well as in the Amazon limited series Exciting Times.
Lerman’s notable film credits include Hoot, The Number 23, 3:10 to Yuma, the Percy Jackson films, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, and Fury. He will next be seen in Sony Pictures’ action thriller Bullet Train starring alongside Brad Pitt, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and more.
