The iconic blockbuster film Back to the Future will be coming to Broadway in the form of the stage musical version of the Robert Zemeckis film.

The move to Broadway was announced through a tweet from the official Back to the Future Twitter account that includes a very short teaser, which features Doc Brown and Marty McFly in the famous DeLorean. The tweet has a link to the official website for the musical, where you can sign-up to be notified when tickets are available. You can check out the tweet below:

Back to the Future: The Musical first premiered in 2020 at the Manchester Opera House, where it was met with positive reviews, and would later go on to win the 2022 Olivier Award for Best New Musical. In 2023, the show will come to Broadway for the first time.

Back to the Future was originally released in 1985 and was directed by Robert Zemeckis, who co-wrote the screenplay along with Bob Gale. The Oscar winning classic sci-fi movie that spawned two sequels stars Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson, and Crispin Glover.
