According to Deadline, No Time to Die star Léa Seydoux has officially signed on to join Denis Villeneuve’s highly-anticipated action sci-fi sequel Dune: Part Two. The French actress was most recently seen in David Cronenberg’s body horror film Crimes of the Future.
Seydoux is set to portray the role of Lady Margot, who like Lady Jessica, is a Bene Gesserit described as a long-standing servant of the Sisterhood. This marks the character’s live-action debut as she and her husband Count Hasimir Fenring weren’t included in David Lynch’s 1984 adaptation of Dune.

Dune: Part Two will once again be directed by Denis Villeneuve. The returning cast includes Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Zendaya, Javier Bardem, and Josh Brolin. Joining them is Christopher Walken as Emperor Shaddam IV, with Florence Pugh and Austin Butler set for the respective roles of Princess Irulan and
Last year, Dune has gone to garner critical acclaim from fans and critics alike. Earlier this year it also racked up a whopping 10 Academy Award nominations and has won six of it including Best Original Score, Best Sound, Best Film Editing, Best Cinematography, Best Production Design, and Best Visual Effects.

Production is expected to begin this July. It is currently scheduled to arrive in theaters on October 20, 2023.
