Actress Daniela Melchior, who broke out with her role as Ratcatcher in The Suicide Squad, will appear in the highly anticipated upcoming Marvel sequel, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

According to a recent report from Deadline, Melchior will appear in the film in some capacity. She will not be playing Moondragon, however, a character that many fans had speculated her to play despite director James Gunn denying the rumor. Deadline also noted that although Melchior will be in Volume 3, she is not the “unannounced actor” that James Gunn has been teasing to appear in the upcoming film, with that person still remaining a mystery.
Melchior rose to fame after appearing as Cleo Cazo — also known as Ratcatcher 2 — in the 2021 film The Suicide Squad. Melchior is also set to appear in both 2023’s Fast X, and the 2024 follow-up Fast & Furious 11.

Before the space-traveling team makes their return to the big screen, their Disney+ holiday special is expected to be released later this year.
