According to Deadline, Eternals star Barry Keoghan and Euphoria actor Jacob Elordi have signed on to star in Oscar-winning filmmaker Emerald Fennell’s second directorial feature, titled Saltburn, with Margot Robbie attached to executive produce. They will be joining recently announced leading star Rosamund Pike. Production is expected to begin this summer in the UK.

Saltburn will be directed by Emerald Fennell. It will reportedly be a story of obsession, centering around a grand aristocratic English family. The project will be produced by Fennell along with Josey McNamara, Tom Ackerley, and Margot Robbie through LuckyChap Entertainment.
Fennell gained recognition for her feature-length directorial debut Promising Young Woman, which was led by Carey Mulligan. For her work in the 2020 film, The Crown alum won an Academy Awards for Best Original Screenplay out of three nominations. She is currently in production for Greta Gerwig’s live-action Barbie film.

Keoghan gained recognition for his roles in Dunkirk and The Killing of a Sacred Deer. He recently starred as a superhero in Marvel Studios’ Eternals, and as a villain in Warner Bros. Pictures’ The Batman.
Elordi’s breakout role was in Netflix’s romantic comedy film The Kissing Booth. Later on, he was able to show off his dramatic skills in HBO’s hit teen drama series Euphoria. He recently appeared in 20th Century Studios’ Deep Water, starring alongside Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas.
