After plenty of anticipation, the title of David O. Russell’s upcoming film has finally been revealed. Officially titled Amsterdam, the film is described as a “facts that meet fiction” romantic crime epic that follows three close friends who end up in the middle of one of America’s most wild secret plots.

Amsterdam stars Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, John David Washington, Alessandro Nivola, Andrea Riseborough, Anya Taylor-Joy, Chris Rock, Matthias Schoenaerts, Michael Shannon, Mike Myers, Taylor Swift, Timothy Olyphant, Zoe Saldana, Rami Malek, and Robert De Niro.
The first image from the movie was also released, showing Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, and John David Washington as their characters in full costume.
Russell wrote and directed the project, which teams him with Bale for the third time after the two joined forces on The Fighter (for which Bale won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor) and American Hustle. It also marks a reunion between the director and Nivola and De Niro, with the former previously co-starring in American Hustle and the latter starring in Silver Linings Playbook and Joy, and making a cameo appearance in Hustle.

The film will be produced by Arnon Milchan, Matthew Budman, Anthony Katagas, David O. Russell, and Christian Bale, with Yariv Milchan, Michael Schaefer, and Sam Hanson serving as executive producers. for New Regency, with 20th Century Studios set to distribute the film.
Amsterdam will open in theaters on November 4.
