2022 Academy Awards Nominees Officially Announced

The full list of nominees for the upcoming 94th annual Academy Awards was officially announced this morning by hosts Tracee Ellis Ross and Leslie Jordan through a global live stream. Leading the major categories is Jane Campion’s The Power of the Dog with 12 nominations, followed by Denis Villeneuve’s Dune with a total of 10 nominations. Meanwhile, Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story, and Kenneth Branagh’s Belfast both scored seven nominations including Best Picture and Best Director.

The 2022 Academy Awards is scheduled to commence on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland in Hollywood. It will be televised live on ABC at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT in more than 200 territories worldwide.
