After what felt like eons in the top spot on DEG’s Watched at Home List, the Ryan Reynolds action-comedy Free Guy finally met its match: Kevin Costner. The veteran actor dethroned Free Guy via the highly anticipated Yellowstone Season 4, which made its debut last week in the top five, but now finds itself as the king of the list. Yellowstone more or less dominated this week’s lineup as all four seasons appeared in the top 10.
Elsewhere, the Aretha Franklin biopic Respect made its debut at No. 11, while holiday favorites such as both Grinch features rose into the top 10.
DEG compiles the Watched at Home Top 20 list with the most widely consumed titles on disc and digital during the previous week (except for outside subscription-based streaming platforms). Assembled with the newest studio and retailer data every seven days, it showcases current consumer enthusiasm for home viewing of the newest film and television releases.
