The Better Podcast with Joe Towne returns today and ComingSoon is set to debut the guestlist for the upcoming six episodes that will comprise the back half of Season 1. Each episode is a long-form conversation as the actor speaks with an industry leader and aims to “explore all the ways in which we can achieve success on our own terms, how we can lead more present and mindful lives and quite simply – how to be better humans.”
Guests for the rest of Season 1 include NAACP Image award nominee and showrunner Anthony Sparks (Queen Sugar), Grammy award-winning producer Arnie Cardillo, Emmy-nominated actor, director, and Grammy award-winning musician Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Emmy award-winning producer Liza Katzer (Ted Lasso), and Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame photographer Andrew D. Bernstein (Mamba Mentality).
Today’s episode will feature Towne speaking to Sparks about his theatrical career, which featured five years in the Off-Broadway hit Stomp! Sparks also discusses what inspired him to take a more active role in the projects he would choose to be a part of and later create into existence, collaborating alongside Ava Duvernay and creating his own shows for Blumhouse TV.
