Chord Overstreet (Glee) has been cast to star alongside Lindsay Lohan in an upcoming Netflix romantic comedy, according to a report from Variety.

The currently untitled film will also star George Young, Jack Wagner, and Olivia Perez. The release date for the film has also yet to be finalized, with an announcement expected sometime later. Janeen Damian is set to direct the film and will be co-writing the screenplay with Jeff Bonnett, Ron Oliver, and Michael Damian.
The film focuses on a newly engaged, spoiled hotel heiress (Lohan) who suffers a skiing accident and gets amnesia as a result. On her road to recovery, she’ll begin to find herself while in the care of a “blue-collar lodge owner” and his daughter. According to the report, Overstreet is set to play the male lead and love interest of Lohan’s character.

For Lohan, this will mark the first acting role she’s since 2019’s Among the Shadows and just her second acting role in the last eight years. Overstreet broke out in the hit television series Glee and has since gone on to act in a variety of shows while also enjoying a career as a musical artist.
