A brand new clip for the upcoming horror film Antlers has been released, showcasing a brief encounter with a scary creature.

In the clip, Lucas Weaver (Jeremy T. Thomas) is seen being bullied by a student as he walks through a forest, before the pair stop and notice a creature in the trees. Before they can do anything, though, the monster pounces and attacks the child bully.

Antlers follows a small-town Oregon teacher (Keri Russell) and her brother (Jesse Plemons), the local sheriff, after they discover that a young student (Jeremy T. Thomas) is helping to harbor a very dangerous secret that has some potentially serious and frightening consequences. The film also stars JT Corbitt, Graham Greene, Scott Haze, Rory Cochrane and Amy Madigan.
Directed by Scott Cooper (Hostiles), the film was written by C. Henry Chaisson (Open 24 Hours) & Nick Antosca and Scott Cooper, based upon the short story “The Quiet Boy” by Nick Antosca (Channel Zero). The film is produced by Oscar-winner Guillermo del Toro (The Shape of Water, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, Nightmare Alley), David S. Goyer (The Dark Knight, Foundation, Batman Begins), and Oscar-winner J. Miles Dale (The Shape of Water, The Strain, Mama).

Antlers is set for release in theaters on October 29, 2021.
