According to a recent report from Variety, the pair will be the subject of a brand new biopic from Polygram Entertainment. The report notes that the film will explore the decades-long relationship between Ozzy and Sharon, including the sudden boom in popularity the two received thanks to the MTV reality series The Osbournes.
Academy Award nominee Lee Hall is set to write the script, with Sharon and her children, Jack Osbourne and Aimée Osbourne, set to produce via their label Osbourne Media. Michele Anthony and David Blackman are also set to produce on behalf of Polygram Entertainment, with Andrea Giannetti overseeing development for Sony.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a film centered on Ozzy Osbourne without music, and the report goes on to mention that music will play a large role in the film. Various tracks from both Ozzy’s time as a member of the iconic band Black Sabbath as well as his solo career will be featured in the film.
