Netflix has officially announced the release dates for its complete fall 2021 movie lineup which consists of 42 original movies that are set to debut from September to December. This includes highly-anticipated films such as Adam McKay’s star-studded film Don’t Look Up that will be led by Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence; the action spy movie film Red Notice starring Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot, and Ryan Reynolds; Jane Campion’s upcoming drama The Power of the Dog starring Benedict Cumberbatch; The Guilty, the English remake of the 2018 Danish action thriller starring Jake Gyllenhaal; the James Wan-produced slasher movie There’s Someone Inside Your House; and more.
This fall will also mark premieres for the directorial debut films of actors-turned-filmmakers including Maggie Gyllenhaal’s film adaptation of The Lost Daughter starring Olivia Colman; Rebecca Hall’s Sundance drama pic Passing starring Tessa Thompson and Ruth Negga; Halle Berry’s sports biopic Bruised starring Berry; and Lin-Manuel Miranda’s musical drama Tick, Tick…Boom! starring Andrew Garfield.
