Ant-Man 3 Set Video Shows Paul Rudd Filming Musical Montage

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania Begins Production in the UK

In a recent Instagram video posted by Kansas City Chiefs’ wide receiver Tyreek “Cheetah” Hill, while promoting a celebrity basketball game for the Tyreek Hill Foundation, Ant-Man star Paul Rudd also went on to confirm that production on Marvel Studios’ upcoming MCU threequel Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has officially begun in London. Rudd mentions the filming start as the reason on why he won’t be able to attend the said game.

The film is currently set to arrive in theaters on February 17, 2023. Its current release date pits the film against no major competition yet, except for an untitled live-action film from Disney. However, Disney would probably changed the untitled project’s release date in order to avoid potentially overlapping with Ant-Man 3‘s debut.

In Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly will once again share top billing as Scott Lang/Ant-Man and Hope van Dyne/Wasp, respectively. They were both last seen by fans during Avengers: Endgame. The film will also feature the return of Michael Douglas and Michelle Pfeiffer as they reprise their roles as Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne. It’s still unclear if Michael Peña’s fan-favorite Luis and David Dastmalchian’s Kurt would also be back for the sequel as well.

The third installment will also introduce MCU newcomer Kathryn Newton (The SocietyFreaky) as she now takes over the role of Cassie Lang, a character previously portrayed by Abby Ryder Fortson in the first Ant-Man films and Emma Fuhrmann in Endgame. It has also been confirmed that Lovecraft Country star Jonathan Majors have been cast as Marvel villain Kang the Conqueror, which marks the character’s live-action debut.
