Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead is making its way up Netflix’s top 10 most-watched movies list as it garnered 72 million viewing households in its first four weeks.
According to Deadline, the action-packed Army of the Dead is currently tied with George Clooney’s The Midnight Sky as the 9th most-watched film on the streamer. It was also number one overall in over 70 countries, and the top movie in over 90 countries.

Army of the Dead features a star-studded cast with Dave Bautista, Ella Purnell, Ana De La Reguera, Theo Rossi, Huma Qureshi, Omari Hardwick, Tig Notaro, Hiroyuki Sanada, Garret Dillahunt, Matthias Schweighöfer, Raúl Castillo, Nora Arnezeder, and Samantha Win. It is directed by Snyder.

Although the film premiered on Netflix on May 21, Army of the Dead premiered in theaters across the U.S. and Spain on May 14. It is currently estimated it has made over $800K during its opening weekend.
Snyder’s previous works include several comic book adaptations like 300, Watchmen, Man of Steel, and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Most recently, the “Snyder cut” of Justice League was released this year, clocking in at roughly four hours.
