Earlier this week, Marvel Studios unveiled more information regarding the future of the MCU, including release dates for the likes of The Marvels, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and more. Today, loglines for both films have also surfaced, giving fans slightly more info on what to expect from the films.

The extended synopsis for The Marvels, the sequel to 2019’s Captain Marvel, notes that Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers will be joined by Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau and Man Vellani, who is currently slated to portray Kamala Khan in Disney+’s Ms. Marvel series.

“Marvel Studios’ The Marvels will feature Brie Larson returning to the role of Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers. As for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, things are being kept under wraps for the most part. Even the extended logline for the film doesn’t include much information, instead just noting that the sequel to Black Panther will explore the world of Wakanda once again. Fans have been wondering just how the franchise will continue following the passing of Chadwick Boseman, and it doesn’t seem like Disney is ready to divulge too much just yet.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is currently set to arrive in theaters on July 8, 2022. The Marvels is currently set for a November 11, 2022 release.
