Gwyneth Paltrow previously expressed that she was retiring from the MCU after Avengers: Endgame, just like long-time Marvel co-star Robert Downey Jr. However, when recently asked about the possibility of returning to the MCU, it looks Paltrow has already changed her mind. Speaking with People, the Oscar-winning actress confirmed that she’s still open to reprise her role as Pepper Potts in future Marvel Studios projects, only if its for minor appearances.
“I think if it was a small part that I could do in like a day or two, I would of course be open to that,” Paltrow said.

During the epic final battle in Avengers: Endgame, fans have finally saw Paltrow’s Pepper Potts donning her character’s iconic Rescue armor suit from the comics. Her character was then last seen during the funeral of Tony Stark as she and daughter, Morgan Stark honors Tony’s memory by sending off his original ARC reactor onto the lake.
Should Pepper indeed make her MCU return, its most likely that the she might potentially appear in Don Cheadle’s upcoming Disney+’s series Armor Wars which will be based on the beloved comic book story by David Michelinie and Bob Layton. The character could also guest-star in the long-awaited Ironheart series which sees the live-action debut of the fan-favorite Marvel character, Riri Williams, who will be portrayed by rising actress Dominique Thorne.
