Yellow Brick Films announced today that its latest feature, Sugar Mountain, has cast Cary Elwes (The Princess Bride, Saw), Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones, Conan the Barbarian), Drew Roy (“Falling Skies”), Haley Webb (Final Destination) and Shane Coffey (“Pretty Little Liars”).
Were so excited to have such a tremendous cast onboard, said Gray. ’Sugar Mountain’ is a compelling screenplay, which was originally set in Australia, but we found the perfect location in Alaska and writer Abe Pogos did a brilliant job in adapting. I dont think Ive been to a more stunning and brutal place, which is perfect for this story. I adore these actors and cant wait to start shooting.
Principle photography will commence shortly in Alaska.
A dark comedy thriller about love, greed, family and a hoax that goes terribly wrong, Sugar Mountain will be directed by Richard Gray. His last feature, The Lookalike, which Grays Yellow Brick Films produced with Justin Long, is set for theatrical release this summer though Well Go USA Entertainment.
