Welcome to another edition of Watched at Home in which we look at the Top 20 films/TV shows you couched potatoes watched over the last week, courtesy of The Digital Entertainment Group. Interestingly enough, this week was largely the same as last week save for a few random old-school classics that randomly made their way to the list. Let’s do this thing!
RELATED: September 8 Blu-ray, Digital and DVD Releases
Ok, first off, Yellowstone Seasons 1-3 continue to dominate, which makes sense because, well, it’s a damned fine show. David Ayer’s The Tax Collector continues to enjoy the No. 4 spot followed by holdover The King of Staten Island at No. 5.
Fans continue to mourn the surprising loss of Chadwick Boseman enough to propel Black Panther and the 2013 Jackie Robinson drama 42 into the the Top 10, respectively. The latter, in particular, likely stands as Boseman’s finest work. So, it’s cool to see that flick get some love.
Magically, Harry Potter, which had hovered between spots 11-20 for some time, cast a spell and soared all the way to No. 8 right behind Trolls World Tour. People dig the wizard. Respect. Viewers were also digging Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure — the far superior Bogus Journey dropped out of the Top 20 — as well as Tim Burton’s classic ghost comedy Beetlejuice. Yeah, that’s pretty random right there. Was there a sequel announced or something? You guys make no sense.
