Over the Moon Book by Leonard Maltin Coming From Titan

Titan Books has announced a new collaboration with Netflix to publish the official companion title for their newest animated original film, Over the Moon, following 2019’s Oscar-nominated Klaus.

Fuelled with determination and a passion for science, a bright young girl builds a rocket ship to the moon to prove the existence of a legendary Moon Goddess. There, she ends up on an unexpected quest, and discovers a whimsical land of fantastical creatures.

Directed by animation legend Glen Keane, and produced by Gennie Rim and Peilin Chou, Over the Moon is an exhilarating musical adventure about moving forward, embracing the unexpected, and the power of imagination.

Over the Moon: Illuminating the Journey is a stunning coffee table hardback showcasing the art of Netflix’s latest animated film, and is a must-have for all animation fans, young and old. Featuring exclusive interviews with the crew, plus concept art, character sketches, storyboards, and final artwork, the book book explores the unforgettable characters and stunning moonscapes from the film.

Leonard Maltin is one of the world’s most respected film critics and historians. He is best known for his widely-used reference work Leonard Maltin’s Movie Guide and its companion volume Leonard Maltin’s Classic Movie Guide. His books include The 151 Best Movies You’ve Never Seen, Of Mice and Magic: A History of American Animated Cartoons and The Art of the Cinematographer. He teaches at the USC School of Cinematic Arts.
