M. Night Shyamalan and Bruce Willis are gearing up for a third feature film, Deadline reports. Willis, who previously headlined Shyamalan’s The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable, is ready to star in the writer-director’s next, Labor of Love.
Labor of Love, one of Shyamalan’s first professional screenplays, was sold to 20th Century Fox in 1993, but Shyamalan is in the processing of re-acquiring the rights with Emmet/Furla/Oasis set to finance while IM Global is looking to sell the project at the European Film Market in Berlin.
The film, which is slated to begin production in Philadelphia in September, will feature Willis as a bookstore owner who, after tragically losing his wife, decides to walk across the country to prove his love for her.
Randall Emmet, George Furla, Stuart Ford and Ashwin Rajan will produce alongside Shyamalan.
